Good Sam Club seeks new members
The Delaware Good Sam Club is holding a Chapter Membership Drive. All three Delaware Good Sam Chapters are now accepting members. Chapter members enjoy camping with friends, volunteering, using their RVs and sharing a sense of community.
Delaware Good Sam Club presently consists of three local camping chapters: Delmarva Happy Campers, Fun Seekers and Kent Kampers. Information about each chapter including contacts, camping weekends and schedules can be found on the Delaware Good Sam website, www.degoodsam.com, or by email to degoodsam@gmail.com. Good Sam is for anyone who camps, whether in an RV or a tent.
Delaware Good Sam Club has started scheduling 2015 camping events and invites all campers to come. Those interested do not have to be Good Sam members to come to the events; all are welcome. The Mini Samboree is a fun-filled, relaxing camping weekend and an opportunity to get to know fellow Delaware Good Sams. The Mini Samboree will be held at G&R Campground in Houston April 16 to 19. Registration forms are available at www.degoodsam.com.
Delaware State Samboree dates are Sept. 11 to 13 with early bird Sept. 10, at at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington. Activities are planned around the theme, A Night at the Movies.
