The 2024 Revival House Goonies-Fest was held Aug. 24, at Hudson Fields in Milton where fans of all ages came to celebrate the 1985 Steven Spielberg-produced classic, “The Goonies.”
Actors who appeared in the movie include Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Robert Davi, Kerri Green and more. The proceeds from the outdoor celebration will benefit Beebe Healthcare.
“We’re excited to bring the community together for a nostalgic night of fun and film while supporting a great cause,” said Revival House co-founder Rob Rector. “As in years past, we wanted to offer a fun, family-friendly event to rally the community together under a beloved film."
Local musician Cliff Hillis took the stage with fellow player John Feifer, both formerly of Tisra Til, to entertain the crowd gathered for the event.
Co-founder Rob Waters said, “We are always excited to see families enjoying themselves for these events, and this one’s not only a favorite film from my childhood, but having Cliff Hillis perform is particularly poignant, as he performed at our very first event years ago at the Milton Theatre.”
Some attendees dressed as their favorite characters, and many brought chairs and blankets to spread out for a comfortable night of fun and entertainment.
