The world-famous Harlem Wizards took to the hardwood of Cape Henlopen High School Nov. 12, for a slam-dunk afternoon of tricks, hoops and alley-oops. The event benefits youth programs in the Cape Henlopen School District administered by the Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary Club and the Cape Henlopen Interact Club.
“Cape Henlopen Interact Club together with Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary shattered all past attendance records in 2023,” said Pat Campbell-White, event co-chair. “In the last past 23 months, we have contributed more than $32,000 to scholarships, trips for robotics, First Tee program, dictionaries for third-graders, Odyssey of the Mind, backpacks of food, coats, shoes, clothing, etc. This weekend's proceeds will continue to help students of the Cape Henlopen region.”
