Henry Hanna receives Sperry Van Ness Ambassador Award
Sperry Van Ness - Miller Commercial Real Estate recently announced that Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR, was chosen to receive the SVN Ambassador Award at the 2012 National Conference in San Diego, Calif. This is awarded each year to one advisor who represents Sperry Van Ness to the public and to the real estate community across the country.
Among Hanna’s many accomplishments in the commercial real estate realm, he served for SVN Asset Recovery Team as the Mid-Atlantic director responsible for helping banks deal with distressed assets and work directly with SVN advisors. Hanna is currently serving as a national director of industrial properties, guiding brokers and clients across the country to achieve their goals in the industrial area. While serving in these roles, Hanna’s production earned him the No. 4 rank nationally within the company for clients served with settled transactions so far in 2012.
With more than 35 years of real estate experience, Hanna has brokered industrial sales including the Northwood Industrial Park in Salisbury, Md.; has worked with national and international companies (from Germany, Italy and Belgium); and has listed, marketed and sold a variety of pharmaceutical, defense, high-tech, manufacturing, modular home- and boat-building companies. He has also actively worked with the state of Maryland, the Department of Business and Economic Development, and the Maryland Economic Development Corporation.
Hanna serves as senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness - Miller Commercial Real Estate in Salisbury, specializing in retail, office and industrial properties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Hanna holds the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors designation and the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
