Heroes for Hooters and Milford chamber donate to veterans home

Heroes for Hooters and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford made a donation to the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford June 30.
The Delaware Veterans Home is an organization whose mission is to provide outstanding long-term care services to Delaware veterans that uphold dignity and respect while sustaining and improving their quality of life.
The two organizations were asked to donate items the residents can use on a daily basis. The proceeds from the 2021 Girls Night Out event held in May were used to purchase items including electric razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, puzzles, playing cards and more for donation.
