For His Glory Ministries hosts back-to-school event

For His Glory Ministries of Milton hosted its sixth annual back-to-school event Sept. 22 in Milton Memorial Park.

The event included free barbecue, with ribs, burgers and hot dogs, as well as games, live music, health checks and back-to-school supplies. With nice, sunny weather, kids were able to play on the playground, hula hoop and get their faces painted.

Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane.
