Each trailer must not exceed three minutes in length, packing a punch of suspense and terror within this compact time frame. Submissions are due with film entries by midnight Friday, Oct. 18, to robwaters76@gmail.com.
Submitting a film is free, and local filmmakers from around the region will compete for cash prizes. Winners must be present to accept their awards.
“The Horror Trailer Challenge continues to be one of our favorite events,” said Rector. “It allows filmmakers to show off their skills, get creative in a short time frame and test the limits of their imagination.”
Waters said, “Every year, I am amazed at the level of filmmaking we receive for the event. We are fortunate to have such talented filmmakers in our area.”
