Gallery tours, musical entertainment, food and beverage stations and peeks at selected rooms the Hyatt Place in Dewey were as grand as grand openings are meant to be. The standing room only crowd Oct. 24 squeezed into the new Dickinson Avenue hotel which features 108 rooms topped by 16 condominium units.
The hotel is the first of a two-phase redevelopment project called Lighthouse Cove, with Dewey Beach Enterprises planning to remake the Baycenter, Que Pasa and The Lighthouse complex - only the iconic lighthouse itself will remain.
