HydroShield of Delmarva cuts ribbon on new office

December 2, 2022

HydroShield of Delmarva celebrated the opening of its new office at 1632 Savannah Road, Suite 6, in Lewes, hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 10 with the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce.

HydroShield is a service company that applies protective coatings to hard-to-clean surfaces such as natural stone, granite, quartz, glass, grout, tile and porcelain, making them easy to keep clean and looking new longer. All the protective coatings used are manufactured by HydroShield Corporation and are backed by warranties ranging from three to 15 years, depending on the surface being treated. HydroShield Corporation has been in business since 1995 and has dealers all over the country.

Local owners John and Denise Bateman, lifelong residents of Sussex County, along with their sons Ben and Mike, started the business in 2015 after realizing the need for it in this area. They can treat brand-new surfaces, and they can also clean and restore older surfaces to make them look new again. They are happy to come take a look at surfaces and provide free estimates.
