Janet M. Pappas, retired teacher

Janet M. Pappas, 83, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.

She was an elementary school teacher, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nicholas J. Pappas in 2015.  She is survived by two daughters, Helene Saylor, and Nikki Pollard and her husband Steve Pollard; granddaughters, Melissa Repoza and Megan Saylor; stepgranddaughters, Kate Addleson (husband Rob) and Sue Allen (husband John); great-grandchildren, Kyle Thompson, Savannah Repoza and Fin Allen; cousins, Edward Goldman, Christy Goldman-Tomlins, Amy Goldman; and close family friends, Brian Brock and Lonnie Saylor.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.  A reception will be held in honor of Janet after the service.
