Jeanne E. Carlson, gave out Jesus dollars

Jeanne Elizabeth Carlson, 92, went to heaven to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. Jeanne was known throughout the Lewes, Milton and Milford area as the person that gave out Jesus dollars and encouraged people to follow the teachings of Christ.

She was born Aug. 27, 1922, in McKeesport, Pa. to her parents, Calvin and Lillie Savannah Smith, Kelly that preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her five brother: Clifford Kelly, Charles Kelly, Calvin Kelly, Glenn Kelly, and George Kelly; and four sisters: Lillian Kelly Walsh, Annabelle Kelly Tomak, June Kelly Whitehead, and Dorothy Kelly Pishko; all were from McKeesport. Also preceding her in death was her son, Paul G Carlson; and grandson Charles Paul Carlson,

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Paul A Carlson; one son Charles (Bud) Carlson and wife Jane; two daughters: Carole Sieber and husband John (Jack), and Darlene Cordeaux and husband John; and grandchildren: Kristin Carlson, Amy Borland and husband Bo, Kathleen Fintak andhusband Bill, Daniel Carlson and wife Patricia, Jennifer Tietbohl and husband Jeffrey, Zack Sieber, Charles Coleman and wife Karen, David Coleman; and great grandchildren, Kelly Carlson, Paulina Borland, Nicholas, Alexander and Kaitlyn Fintak, Andrew and Elizabeth Carlson, Maryann and Elizabeth Tietbohl, and Christina Coleman.

Mrs. Carlson was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and was a friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all of those left behind.
