Johnson Orthodontics presents gift card to Lewes teacher

Dr. Jonathan Johnson recently surprised local teacher Stacy Kotch-Jester with a $200 gift card for her classroom.
Mrs. K-J, as her students affectionately call her, is the fourth-grade Spanish immersion teacher at Lewes Elementary. She was nominated by student Rex Parsons, who dropped her name into a fishbowl in Johnson’s office at his last appointment. The contest, which has been running consistently since 2017, is Johnson’s way of thanking teachers for routinely letting him “borrow” their students for orthodontic appointments.
The son of two elementary school teachers, Johnson is committed to supporting local schools and looks forward to surprising another teacher in February.
