King’s Ice Cream sales to benefit Milton Garden Club Aug. 27
King’s Ice Cream in Milton will be supporting the Milton Garden Club’s fundraising efforts with an ice cream social from 12 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, at 302 Union St., Milton. King’s will donate 20% of that day’s sales proceeds to the club.
The public is invited to enjoy frozen treats and support the club, which plants and maintains flowers in different areas of the Milton community.
Milton Garden Club members will be on site to greet customers, and provide a fun activity for children and families. They will also be selling 50/50 raffle tickets, recruiting new members and selling tickets for the 21st Annual Milton Garden Tour, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18. The Hope in Bloom door prize will be four tickets to the tour showcasing seven gardens, with multiple artists and vendors in each one.
