Largest crowd yet for Henlopen Acres’ Fourth of July parade
Hundreds of Henlopen Acres residents and visitors began their July 4 weekend with the town’s 11th annual Independence Day Parade. Family, friends and visitors, all dressed in red, white and blue, gathered at the marina to walk, pedal or slowly motor about a one-mile loop. Following the parade, there were games and free ice cream from Cup ‘R Cone to help everyone cool down.
