Letter: Bucchioni deserves your vote on Nov. 6

October 12, 2018

I am writing to express my support for Mr. John (Jack) Bucchioni for state representative of District 20 (Harbeson, Lewes, Milton, and the surrounding areas). Jack has outstanding qualifications for this position.

He has worked as an educator, teaching high school in North Philadelphia. After that, he worked in private business as the president and part owner of one of the nation’s oldest and largest school supply companies. Later he went on to develop and manage three nationwide consumer products businesses, one locally on the Delmarva Peninsula. This experience gives him the unique skills to work as one of our state legislators. He has demonstrated to me the ability to think critically with the maturity to work cooperatively and compromise when it is the interest of all.

I encourage every registered voter in District 20  to vote John (Jack) Bucchioni for their state House representative on Nov. 6, the general election. I am a Democratic Party representative of District 38 in Ocean View, have vetted him, and I am convinced that “Together We Can!” That is my slogan for all registered voters to elect candidates like Mr. Buicchioni.

I, therefore, encourage all my fellow Democrats to support Jack this Nov. 6.

Dr. Eric E. West
Frankford
