Lewes Community Garden beds available for new members
Anyone living in the greater Lewes area who loves to grow their own vegetables but doesn’t have room may be able to find a solution at the Lewes Community Garden.
For the 2026 growing season, the organization has spaces available for new members who are interested in growing healthy food, connecting with neighbors and being part of a supportive community.
The organic, volunteer-run community garden is located in Great Marsh Park near the University of Delaware campus and the dog park in Lewes.
Lewes Community Garden participants pay $75 per year for rental of a 4-by-8-foot bed, with a sliding scale option to ensure accessibility. To join, gardeners must be residents of the greater Lewes area. All participants must follow organic gardening practices, and fellow gardeners will be available to provide support and resources.
