Lewes couple celebrates 50th wedding anniversary

Brad and Michele Travis of Lewes celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 2, 2026.
The couple were married Jan. 2, 1976, at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach.
Brad retired from Beebe Healthcare after 29 years of service. Michele has been a devoted homemaker throughout their marriage.
They are the parents of three sons: Bradley Travis Jr., Bryan Travis and Kyle Travis, and the grandparents of six grandchildren: Kaila Stone, Isabella Travis, Bryan Travis Jr., Rosalie Travis, Millie Travis and Hazel Travis.
A family celebration was held in honor of the occasion.
