Lewes DAR shows appreciation to first responders

To honor the extraordinary service rendered to Lewes and neighboring communities, members of the Col. David Hall Chapter, NSDAR, Lewes, recognized First Responders Day Oct. 28 by presenting goodie baskets to Delaware State Police Troop 7 and Lewes Fire Station 82.
“We are so appreciative of the excellent job done to keep citizens safe and to save lives. We learned that the Lewes Fire Department was organized in 1796, 227 years ago,” said Patricia Haas, Lewes chapter regent. “Thank you for your service to all first responders.”
