The Lewes Class of 1958 recently held its 65th reunion at Lewes Diner. Members attended from Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Members who passed away since the last reunion were remembered. They include Sylvia Vessels DuRoss, Nancy Hudson Truitt, Marta Ann Pierce Webster, Betty Gillis Lee, Shirley Watkins Gibbons, Al Derickson, Sam Mitchell, Scotty Quillen, Charles Robertson and Ernest Rice. Also remembered was class teacher Bea Sockrider.
The class attended Lewes High School on Savannah Road from first grade through 12th grade.
