Lewes Lions collect 2,000 pairs of eyeglasses for recycling
The Lewes Lions Club collected 2,065 pairs of glasses and delivered them to the regional eyeglass recycling facility in Milton. From there, the glasses will be taken on for processing.
For those who would like to donate glasses, Lewes Lions has eyeglass recycling drop-off locations at Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave.; County Bank, 1609 Savannah Road; American Legion Post 17, 113 American Legion Road; Beebe Healthcare, 424 Savannah Road; Lewes Post Office, 116 Front St.; New Life Thrift Shop, 34686 Jiffy Way; and Auto Gallery, 1144A Savannah Road.
