Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary sponsors youth conservation program

November 12, 2017

The Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club recently sponsored 66 children with a $1,000 donation to a special youth education program sponsored by Delaware Ducks Unlimited. The event teaches youth about stewardship and conservation of waterfowl habitats in association with the Division of Fish and Wildlife, Delaware Wetlands and other organizations. Longtime Rotarian and Ducks Unlimited member Kenny Hopkins nominated Ducks Unlimited for this award.

Rotary's mission is to make the greater Lewes community a better place to live, work, go to school and raise a family through service and fundraising projects. The club meets at 5:15 p.m. every Monday for dinner at Irish Eyes in Lewes. Community-spirited individuals are invited to attend.
