Lifesaving crew coming back to the beach
December 31, 2019
Winter and its storms could be a tough time for the U.S. Lifesaving Service and its crews stationed along the coast. This souvenir postcard sold at Horn’s Pavilion in Rehoboth Beach and mailed in 1908 shows a crew coming back into the beach at Rehoboth on one of the calmer days that the ocean serves up.
