Linda L. Seglem, loved family, the beach
Linda L. Seglem, 81, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. Born Jan. 11, 1944, in Lower Merion, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (McKnett) Lux.
Linda devoted her life to her family, raising her beloved son and creating a warm, welcoming home for all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for those around her. She especially cherished time spent at the beach with her family, with Wilmington Avenue and Deauville Beach holding a special place in her heart. From walks along Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk to visits to Funland, Gus & Gus, Browseabout Books and Dolle’s, she created countless joyful memories.
An avid traveler, Linda thoughtfully planned every family trip, always complete with a detailed itinerary. Whether exploring national parks, traveling throughout the Caribbean and Europe, or visiting family in Norway, she embraced each journey as an opportunity to create lasting memories with those she loved most.
She is survived by her son, Brian Seglem and his wife Danielle; her cherished grandsons, Benjamin Seglem and Beau Seglem, whom the family joyfully welcomed Dec. 19; her brother, Matthew Lux and his wife Patti; niece, Meredith Lux; nephew, Matthew Lux; sister-in-law, Janet Lux; nephew, David Lux; nieces, Lori Hunt and Kathi Hansen; and nephews, Chuck Hunt and Scott Hunt.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Seglem; her sister, Alice L. Hunt; and her brother, William “Bill” Lux.
