Local Beta Sigma Phi sorority chapter welcomes new officers

September 25, 2021

The Xi Sigma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority recently began a new service year and recognized its incoming officers for 2021-22.

They are (l-r) Clare Johnson, corresponding secretary; Kris Pritchett, president; Gretta Wolter, vice president; Carolyn McClelland, treasurer; and Ann Wotring, recording secretary.

After pandemic restrictions required meetings to be held via Zoom for 2020-21, the chapter was able to hold an outdoor luncheon in May at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, with 15 members on hand to welcome the new officers. They look forward to being able to meet in person during the coming year.

The sorority chose to support the local Cape Community Cares organization again this year as its fundraising projects beneficiary to assist homeless students in the Cape Henlopen School District.
