Long & Foster Rehoboth collecting Toys for Tots donations

November 20, 2022

The Rehoboth Beach office of Long & Foster Real Estate will support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in its Toys for Tots campaign as a collection site this year. New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, at the Rehoboth Beach office, located at 37156 Rehoboth Ave, through Wednesday, Dec. 14.

“We’re excited to once again take part in Toys for Tots, a fun and important cause, and provide our neighbors a convenient location to drop off donations,” said Carol Materniak, manager of the Rehoboth Beach and Lewes offices. “It’s great to know that by collecting toys throughout the holiday season, we can help make sure children in our area who are less fortunate have a more cheerful holiday.”

Long & Foster offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast are participating in the Toys for Tots donation drive. This year marks the company’s 31st year participating in the holiday collection campaign.

“Giving back to the many communities in which we live and work is important to our Long & Foster family, which is why we’ve been participating in the Toys for Tots drive for more than 30 years,” said Jeffrey S. Detwiler, Long & Foster Companies president and CEO. “The U.S. Marines have built a tremendous program with Toys for Tots, and our employees, agents and their clients appreciate and enjoy the opportunity to support them.”

Once the toys are collected and presented to the U.S. Marines, they are distributed through churches and social welfare agencies to children in need throughout the community.
