Marguerite E. Rickards, Selbyville homemaker
Marguerite E. Rickards, 87, of Selbyville passed away surrounded by her loving family Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Marguerite was born in Selbyville July 11, 1930, daughter of the late Frank Lynch and Edna (Figgs) Lynch. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Franklin Rickards Sr., in 2001; two brothers, Robert James and Frank Lynch; and a sister, Reba Lynch. She is survived by five children; Letitia Hudson and her companion Daniel Wenner of Millsboro, Lester Franklin Rickards Jr. and his wife Susie of Frankford, Marguerite Eckman and her husband Robert of Selbyville, Millie Collins and her husband Brad of Frankford and Lora Lynch and her husband Scott of Laurel; a sister, Mildred Quillen of Fenwick Island; five grandchildren, Shawn Rickards, Tiffany Latchum, Travis Rickards, Gabby Goehringer and Bradley Collins II; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services and burial are private.
The family requests no flowers; however, donations in Marguerite's name may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
