Mariners' Retreat, a highly anticipated community in the heart of Lewes, held a sales center grand opening July 14.
This luxury community will consist of 34 single-family homesites with an average lot size of .29 acres. Situated off Fourth Street, Mariners' Retreat is less than a quarter-mile from many popular restaurants and shops along Second Street and the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, and within two miles of Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen State Park. The community will include three cul-de-sacs, separated by scenic wooded wetlands.
In order to connect each section of the community to all the amenities Lewes has offer, there will be a lighted and paved walking trail through the wetlands. Developer Randy Burton envisions each side of the community to have a distinct aesthetic. He describes the rear section as a post-modern farmhouse feel and the front portion to emulate historic Lewes.
Exclusively listed by the Bryce Lingo & Shaun Tull Team of Jack Lingo Realtor, 19 out of 34 lots have been reserved since the grand opening.
"As a resident of Lewes, I am very excited about the release of Mariners' Retreat. With Randy Burton heading the architectural review committee, I'm sure the community will look amazing," said Jessica Bradley, a member of the Bryce Lingo & Shaun Tull Team.
Shaun Tull said, "With a limited inventory of building lots of this size and location in-town Lewes, Mariners' Retreat is a great opportunity for potential buyers, which is displayed by the early activity."
Community infrastructure is expected to be completed in late fall. For more information, go to www.MarinersRetreatLewes.com or call 302-226-6417.
