Marjorie Toors Dutt, raised racehorses
Marjorie Toors Dutt, 77, wife of Herbert M. Dutt, born June 3, 1941, at the Brooklyn Hospital, New York City, and growing up in Bayshore, Long Island, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Suzanne King and Elizabeth Libby Hale; grandchildren, Eli and Gage Hale; sisters-in-law, Alice Price and husband Barry Price, Betty Dutt, and Joan Dutt; and brothers-in-law, Stanley Dutt, Donald Dutt and his wife Canna, and Robert Dutt and his wife Carol, all from the Reading area.
Marjorie was a licensed practical nurse in Pennsylvania and Florida. She owned a horse farm in Unionville, Pa., where she raised racehorses that participated in different derbies.
Marjorie and her husband hosted the World President of Rotary International twice in Palm Beach, Fla.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at St. George’s Episcopal Chapel, Harbeson.
