Megan Amanda Stangl, animal lover

Megan Amanda Stangl, 39, of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born Aug. 18, 1983, in Bristol, Pa., and grew up in Bucks County, daughter of Frederick and Bonnie Stangl of Lewes.

Megan graduated from Council Rock High School South Class of 2001. She attended Temple University and the University of Phoenix, majoring in marketing and business, leading to becoming a web designer. She was a lover of all animals and had a particular affinity for horses. Megan loved her time working for KSI, an organization that assisted people with disabilities to live independent, enriching lives. Her nurturing, caring nature for helping other people was evident in her everyday life. She also loved spending time with her amazing son. Megan enjoyed kayaking and watching the sunrise on the bay.  A skilled writer, she was able to express herself, especially through poetry. Megan treasured time spent with those she loved above all. She will be forever missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Megan is survived by her son, Nicholas Stangl of Lewes; her sisters, Shelly Vainberg of Lewes, and Stacy Potter of Perkasie, Pa.; and her nephews and niece, Jake, Luke and Jesse.

Services will be private.

Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
