Mental health workers honored in Rehoboth

The Cancer Care Management Department of Christiana Care's Helen F. Graham Cancer Center has been called one of the best places in the state to work. Employees are so happy, there are never any job openings, said Cynthia Diefenbeck, presenter for Delaware Psychological Association. At the cancer center, employees enjoy flex time, a staff garden, yoga classes and more, said Diefenbeck. The Delaware Psychological Association honored a Sussex County agency during a ceremony held Oct. 12 at the Atlantic Sands in Rehoboth Beach.

Children & Families First of Georgetown received the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award, given to organizations that understand the link between employee health and quality service.

Children & Families First has been supporting Delaware families since 1884. The organizations serves more than 30,000 children and families each year.

Organizations honored offer wellness incentives such as gym memberships, yoga and health classes, and free time for family care.
