Michelle Marshall joins Gallery One

Artist Michelle Marshall has joined Gallery One in Ocean View as a new partner.

Marshall, a local favorite, was raised in Rehoboth Beach and has a degree in art from the University of Delaware. She will be the featured artist for this year’s St. Peter’s art show and was last year’s Coastal Plein Air first-place winner. Her work has received numerous awards and honors, and in 2011 was selected for display in Sen. Chris Coons' Washington, D.C. offices.

Marshall's passion is depicting the ocean, bay and marshes along with the ever-changing sky. She is constantly inspired by the light, atmosphere and emotion of local unique coastal and rural settings.

Visit Gallery One to see Marshall’s paintings. Gallery One, 32 Atlantic Ave. in Ocean View, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week and is always staffed by one of its 16 partner artists, who are happy to share their love of art.
