Mill Pond Garden in Lewes open to visitors April 21

Mill Pond Garden in Lewes will host an open garden day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, April 21. 

Attendees will enjoy Virginia bluebells, trilliums, azaleas, dogwoods, viburnums, late tulips, hellebores (Lenten roses), phlox, pieris, iris, camellias, pansies, clematis, pulmonarias, early rhododendrons, leucojum and thousands of flowering plants along with unfurling new ferns. Guests will want to make a point to see the garden’s birds, turtles and fish.

Horticulturists Phil Normandy and Diane Lewis, and landscape architect Colleen Bugler will be on site to discuss gardens and give expert advice.

Guests are asked to park head-in on the circle, and not to block driveways or mailboxes, nor park on turf. Photographers and artists are welcome. For sale will be neat plants and Mike's famous organic fertilizer.
