A group of Milton Arts Guild artists will be on hand to exhibit their work and enjoy the New Music & Wind Festival from 2 p.m. until dark, Saturday, May 30, at 612 Federal St., Milton, adjacent to MAG’s new education and event venue, MAG ArtSpace.
The Milton New Music & Wind Festival is the brainchild of Milton Arts Guild member Bill Warrell. The 2026 festival will feature the music of jazz composer/saxophonist Julius Hemphill (1938-95) performed by the Marty Erhlich Trio and Hemphill Stringtet, and new works by Janel Leppin's Ensemble Volcanic Ash.
“The New Music & Wind Festival is a favorite for our artists,” said Lynda Rae Gannon, president of Milton Arts Guild. “Not only is it an opportunity to exhibit their work, but it is a day full of wonderful music and camaraderie.”
