The Milton Arts Guild gallery will present artwork by area students for an upcoming exhibition. As many as 60 pieces of student-created art will be displayed from Wednesday, April 8 to Tuesday, April 21, in the MAG gallery at 107 Federal St., Milton.
This is the third year the Milton Arts Guild has partnered with Cape district art teachers from Milton Elementary, H.O. Brittingham Elementary and Mariner Middle schools to encourage their students to participate in this public display of work by talented youngsters.
“We always look forward to our annual student show at our gallery. We see delightful young people enthusiastically sharing their art projects with family, friends and teachers in our special space,” said Lynda Rae Gannon, Milton Arts Guild board president. “This event is an important part of our mission for our members and community supporters.”
The student show reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 12, and is open for the public to attend and support young local artists.
