Milton Christmas parade returns

After being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Milton’s Christmas Parade was back as big as it had been before. 

Union Street was packed Dec. 1 with people lined up to see the various trucks and floats decorated for the holidays. Also taking part were local marching bands from Cape Henlopen, Sussex Tech, Sussex Central and Milford high schools. Anchoring the parade, as always, was Santa Claus himself, who arrived in an antique fire apparatus from Milton Fire Department to greet attendees. 

Russ Campbell came as his own Christmas decoration, covering himself in lights.
Sea Scouts Ship 198 in Lewes brought their own special guest to the parade, Snoopy.
Girl Scout Troop 115 of Milton takes part in the Dec. 1 parade.
