Milton Elementary School recently hosted family, friends and staff for its annual fifth-grade art show to spotlight the young students’ hard work and creativity.
Art teacher Ali Selders organized a display showcasing everything from paintings and drawings to mixed-media pieces, all created during the school year.
Attendees were treated to musical performances by the fifth-grade band, directed by Mirella Gable, and the fifth-grade chorus, directed by music teacher Michelle Taylor. This was a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents in singing and instrumental music.
Each year, the event highlights the importance of arts education and provides students with a platform to share their accomplishments with the community.
