Milton Farmers Market to kick off May 16

May 8, 2025

Milton Farmers Market will kick off the 2025 season from 3:30 to 6 p.m., Friday, May 16, at Grace Church, 514 Union St., Milton.

This will be the second consecutive year for the market to be held at the church parking lot. The market will be open every Friday through Sept. 26.

Again this year, the market will be presented by the Cape Community Fund, which has overseen its operations since 2023.

Threasa Brittingham, market sales supervisor, said at this time, the market is planning to have 31 full-time vendors as well as three biweekly vendors and 11 drop-in vendors over the course of the season.

Farmers markets in Milton have operated under different organizations in recent years. This iteration of Milton Farmers Market was originally the Broadkill Farmers Market, which was run by the Milton Fire Department Auxiliary.

The new Milton Farmers Market was held at the open lot next to the Lydia Cannon Museum during its first year but moved to Grace Church last year.
