Milton Holly Festival to add new features

October 31, 2021

The Milton Chamber of Commerce announced the Milton Holly Festival is back this year in downtown Milton from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11.

As in years past, this year’s holly festival will feature over 75 craft vendors located throughout downtown Milton. Vendor locations include the newly renovated Milton Fire Hall, the Milton Public Library and Goshen Hall.

New this year is the holiday village and cheer garden to be located on the Milton Historical Society lot, next to the Lydia B. Cannon Museum. Sponsored by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, the holiday village will be filled with local nonprofit organizations providing various activities, giveaways and more for both kids and adults to enjoy. The cheer garden will feature an assortment of adult beverages from local favorite and event sponsor Dogfish Head.

Inside the Lydia B. Cannon Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be Santa Claus and a professional face painter providing services to festival attendees, free of charge.

The holiday village and cheer garden are not all that are new this year; downtown Milton will be buzzing with live entertainment thanks to entertainment sponsor Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, as well as outdoor vendors, food trucks and more. As details are finalized, updates will be available on the festival website at historicmilton.com/event/milton-holly- festival-2/.

Also taking place Dec. 11, Milton Theatre will host two performances by the Capital Ringers community handbell ensemble at 2 and 7 p.m.

With all the new attractions, holly festival is no longer just for shopping; although the shopping will be excellent.
