Mountaire’s Thanksgiving meal packages available Nov. 23

Mountaire’s Thanksgiving for Thousands program has been feeding needy families on Delmarva for over 25 years.

The company partners with area churches, food banks and other groups to serve families a complete Thanksgiving feast, ready to cook. Each box contains a plump Mountaire roaster chicken and all the fixings for a delicious holiday meal.

Those who are interested in getting a box for a family in need can attend a drive-thru distribution event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, at five locations in Sussex County:

Bridgeville – Gateway Fellowship, 8110 Cannon Road; Georgetown – City of Georgetown Sand Hill Road Lot, 20330 Sand Hill Road; Laurel – Laurel Wesleyan, 30186 Seaford Road; Milford – United Church, 985 N. Dupont Blvd.; and Seaford – St. John’s United Methodist Church, 300 N. Pine St.
