Music guild to present choral concert March 8 in Lewes

The St. Cecilia Music Guild will present a performance of John Rutter’s “Requiem“ at 5 p.m., Sunday, March 8, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in downtown Lewes. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. No tickets are required.

The concert will be performed by St. Peter’s Parish Choir and a chamber orchestra, all under the direction of Music Minister T.J. Thomas.  

John Rutter’s “Requiem” is a musical setting of parts of the Latin Requiem with added psalms and biblical verses in English, completed in 1985. It is scored for soprano, mixed choir and chamber ensemble.

Seating is first come, first served, so early arrival is recommended for choice spots.

Admission is free to all St. Cecilia Guild concerts at St. Peter’s, located at Second and Market streets.
