Nassau Valley Vineyards holds weddings reunion

October 14, 2023

To celebrate Nassau Valley Vineyards’ 30th anniversary, owner Peg Raley-Ward and her staff held Our Family Started Here Oct. 7. The event invited couples who took their vows at the winery to return for a celebration. More than 400 weddings have been held at Nassau Valley Vineyards.

The evening was family friendly, with games and face painting available for children. The attendees had dinner and rocked out with the sounds of the state’s premier party band The Funsters. Formal and informal pictures were taken to celebrate the couples vows taken at the vineyard. One couple won a two-night oceanfront getaway at the Boardwalk Plaza in Rehoboth Beach.

“I’ve always considered it a honor to serve those folks who who chose to hold one of the most important days of their lives with us,” said Raley-Ward. “This event was really amazing. We had couples who started their lives here spanning from 1994 to 2022. It was beautiful to see how their families have grown. We will definitely do the event again.”
