The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society will open the 12th Annual Needlework Exhibition Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
This year’s show features the work of more than 70 regional needle artists, comprising beautiful examples of cross stitch, quilting, needlepoint, beading and embroidery.
Members of the local American Needlepoint Guild, Delaware’s Seashore Chapter, will give instructional tours of the exhibit followed by low tea in the lecture hall at 1 and 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29. The public is invited to visit the museum, view the show and vote for the People’s Choice Award winner. The exhibit runs through Sunday, Nov. 10.
