Lewes Board of Health meets Aug. 3
The Lewes Board of Health will meet at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3. The group will discuss the current state of COVID in Lewes, Sussex County and the state, and consider any possible changes to the city’s COVID policy. A meeting link can be found on the agenda at lewes.civicweb.net.
Lewes BPW to discuss GM position Aug. 4
The Lewes Board of Public Works will meet at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4. The group will move into executive session.
The agenda says open session will begin again at 11:30 a.m., when directors will discuss candidates for the general manager position with possible action to select a new general manager.

Lewes to discuss rescue act funds
Lewes Mayor and City Council will host a workshop at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, to discuss possible uses of the American Rescue Plan Act funds received from the federal government.
The city will receive $1.7 million in two installments over two years.

Lewes BPW workshop set Aug. 5

Rehoboth’s Wilmington, Baltimore Ave. task force meeting Aug. 4
Rehoboth Beach’s Wilmington/ Baltimore Avenue Streetscape Task Force will meet virtually at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4. The agenda calls for discussion on the draft layout prepared by the city’s consultant.

Rehoboth environment committee meeting Aug. 6
The Rehoboth Beach Environment Committee will meet at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, in the commissioners room at city hall, 209 Rehoboth Ave., and virtually.
The agenda calls for a presentation by DNREC Environmental Program Manager Adam Schlachter, an update on table placards and continued discussion on a sustainable climate action plan.

Dewey Beach P&Z public hearing set Aug. 6
The Dewey Beach Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and meeting at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 6, at the Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave. The public hearing will be held to receive comment on a proposed ordinance rezoning the parcel at 26 Bellevue St. from residential to business, and to revise the comprehensive plan zoning map.
Members will possibly vote to recommend adoption of the ordinance and to recommend amending the zoning map.
Dewey Beach Audit Committee meets Aug. 9
The Dewey Beach Audit Committee will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, at the Dewey Beach Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagswothy Ave.
Discussion and public comment on the audit will take place, and members will possibly vote to present the audit to town commissioners.
Dewey Beach Marketing Committee meets Aug. 11
The Dewey Beach Marketing Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Dewey Beach Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave.
Members will discuss and possibly vote on ideas to secure donations from the public for the town beautification project.
