Noble's Pond holds ribbon cutting for new model home, The Carolina
More than 100 people attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and Grand Opening of The Carolina, Noble's Pond’s newest model home. Festivities included VIP tours of this sophisticated new model featuring a design concept inspired by input from many current and future homebuyers.
A highlight of the tour was the one-of-a-kind Carolina kitchen, designed for optimal functionality and symmetry by Master Chef Jay Caputo, owner of three area restaurants, Espuma and Cabo in Rehoboth Beach, and Rose and Crown British Pub in Lewes. Caputo was on hand for cooking demonstrations and offering tastings of his creations.
“It’s a rare opportunity to watch a celebrated chef work his culinary magic. This kitchen is a professional and home chef’s dream come true and must be seen to be appreciated, says Mary Field, vice president of Noble’s Pond. "Chef Caputo created an environment where great meals can’t help but happen.” Crab and grapefruit salad, cheesy polenta with balsamic glazed brussels sprouts and quesadilla dip were just some of the delicious offerings Caputo prepared for the attending guests.
Every visitor to The Carolina model home was entered to win a sumptuous dinner with wine pairings for each course from the famed California Boisset Family Estates. This dinner will be held in The Carolina model home and served by Noble’s Pond staff.
In addition to touring the new Carolina model, guests had the opportunity to visit two other model homes, a fully furnished, move-in-ready home, and multiple homes that are currently under construction. The Point, the Noble’s Pond Clubhouse and the heart of all activity in the community, was open during the festivities. Desserts were served in The Conservatory, where many current residents were on hand to discuss the lifestyle they are enjoying at Noble’s Pond.
