Ocean Atlantic to host free home staging event Oct. 2

September 27, 2013

Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty is hosting an HGTV-style event at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, showcasing the impact of staging a home before listing it for sale. The event is free and open to the public but will be limited to the first 30 people to RSVP due to space limitations.

“The focus of this class is on quick and easy ways to maximize the value of your home through staging,” said Kathleen Schell, marketing director. “Jack Kofoed, our brokerage’s professional stager, will be demonstrating, live and on location, how some simple changes with minimum investment will transform the living room of a home currently listed for sale. These easy changes can help the home appeal to the widest pool of prospective buyers and ultimately sell for the best price.”

The class will be held at a home in Rehoboth Beach, and the format is very informal, with information sharing, open discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring digital photos with them if they would like personalized advice from the experts after the class ends that evening.

The class will be approximately 60 minutes long, and wine and appetizers will be offered during the session for attendees. Space is limited to 30 attendees, so anyone interested in participating should call 302-227-6767 or email garrett.gannon@oasir.net to reserve their space.
