Pamper Me Pink set to open April 30 in Tanger Outlets

Summer is just around the corner, and while some people are bathing suit ready, just as many aren’t. Pamper Me Pink owner Leshell Dennis, and her lipo laser fat reduction and slimming machine, will soon be able to help.

“Someone could stop in on their way to the beach,” said Dennis, laughing. “We call that the Brazilian beach butt lift.”

Opening Friday, April 30, in Tanger Outlets Seaside, Pamper Me Pink is a body-contouring and women’s apparel store. Dennis said the laser technology is a way to help lose weight without having to undergo surgery. It melts the fat away, there’s no pain and it’s non-invasive, she said.

In addition to helping melt fat, Dennis said the laser technology can also be used for firming and tightening skin.

“It’s about having positive self-awareness and pampering yourself,” said Dennis.

To help get a beach-ready butt, Dennis has a vacuum shaping machine that, she said, can be used on any part of the body to move cellulite from one area to another. These are used on butts and breasts, said Dennis, showing off two of more than a dozen attachments used for the vacuum.

Dennis said she recognizes there will be skeptics. She said she wouldn’t be opening the business if she hadn’t undergone some sculpting herself and wasn’t a believer – she said she did a number of sessions herself and lost 20 pounds.

“After that, I went and got certified,” she said.

Dennis said she also recognizes body contouring isn’t a cure-all. Just like other avenues of weight loss, eating well and exercising helps maintain the changes, she said.

Dennis said she expects her customers to be primarily women, but the contouring also works well for men who want a little help getting the body they desire. The results are immediate, she said, but she does recommend multiple sessions.

In addition to the body contouring, Pamper Me Pink will have waist trainers, wellness products, clothing and other accessories.

Dennis, a native of Berlin, Md., is opening the business with her daughter Shekinah Fooks. Dennis said they’re proud to be minority women business owners who are setting trends in Rehoboth. She thinks she’s the first minority woman business owner in the Tanger Outlets.

“We’re trailblazers,” said Dennis.

The hours of operation for Pamper Me Pink, 36470 Seaside Outlet Drive, Suite 1420, will mirror the Tanger Outlet hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week, for now. When the outlets change to summer hours, Pamper Me Pink will be open until 9 p.m., seven days a week.
