February 3, 2019

The Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation recently gave a $10,000 grant to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition to help provide breast health education, routine health screenings and appropriate follow-up services to Perdue employees, their families and the communities surrounding Perdue Farms facilities in Georgetown and Milford.

“It is companies like Perdue taking such a lead that truly help impact our communities and move the needle,” said Vicky Cooke, executive director of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

“The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and Perdue have a long-standing partnership. The programs they facilitate save lives, and we are proud to once again support their important efforts and benefit so many people, including our associates and their families in lower Delaware,” said Kim Nechay, executive director of the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation.
