Politicians dropped the ball on Old Landing Road

May 16, 2023

There are already signs up along Old Landing Road against a roundabout at the intersection of Warrington Road and Old Landing Road. And I agree that a roundabout will not solve a thing. I’ve been saying for years a traffic light is needed. Traffic is very bad in summer, but with Beebe Healthcare and developments being added everywhere, it makes traffic a problem year-round.

Locals and tourists think these roads are a shortcut. Well, it is not, so stay on Route 1 and stay out of the residential areas. Put up a traffic light and move on.

Had politicians listened a long time ago and built infrastructure over overbuilding area, the problem of traffic might not have been as bad.
