Pop Up market open Sundays at Paul’s Kitchen & Cullen-ary Company

June 9, 2019

Paul Cullen, chef and owner of Paul’s Kitchen & Cullen-ary Company, is hosting weekly Sunday markets where locals can purchase all the ingredients needed to prepare an authentic Italian meal. Shoppers are invited to stop by Paul’s Kitchen from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 32882 Cedar Grove Road, Lewes.

Select Sundays feature special guests including local artisans and chefs, live music, or a fundraiser for a local organization. All of the fresh ingredients offered at the pop-up markets have been hand selected by Cullen.

A sampling of what shoppers will find includes fresh, homemade sausages in three flavors: Italian traditional, dandelion pesto-infused, and chicken parm; Paul’s Rockin’ Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Mutti Italian heirloom tomatoes from Emilia Romagna; ciabatta bread from Piemonte; homemade pasta from local favorite Grandpa Mac; homemade biscotti; charcuterie boxes; and assorted spreads, spices and sauces.

“There’s nothing better than cooking an Italian meal with authentic ingredients! The Sunday Pop Up Market is a way for me to share some of the same things I use in my own kitchen with the locals,” said Cullen.

Cullen developed his love for fine food and wine while touring Europe as the bassist for the classic rock band Bad Company. Three decades later, he put down his bass and picked up an acoustic guitar, chef’s knife and wine key, and built what now is the ultimate in-home dining experience, performing for more than 5,000 guests in the last three years all over the world including Costa Rica, Tuscany and the U.S.
