Primitive reflex integration in children program signup due Oct. 19

October 11, 2023

Child Inspired will present a primitive integration reflex continuing education course, led by Dr. Robert Waterson of Synapse Brain & Spine Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, in person at the Lewes Public Library.

Each child is born with a set of critical primitive reflexes to help keep them safe and developing, but it’s important that these reflexes disappear over time. Waterson will share valuable insights and practical tools to enhance the rehab potential and positive outcomes of children with retained reflexes.

Healthcare professionals, therapists, educators and caregivers can expand their knowledge and skills in primitive reflex integration. An introductory webinar will be followed by hands-on training. A certificate of completion of four continuing education credits will be provided. Price is $50 per person. The deadline to register is Thursday, Oct. 19. To sign up, go to bit.ly/PRIContEdTickets.

Triple board certified, Waterson also holds postgraduate board certifications in clinical neuroscience and clinical nutrition. He specializes in treating concussions and traumatic brain injuries, orthopaedic pain, learning disorders, ADHD, headaches and migraines, and neurodegenerative patients with quality-of-life decline.

Serving Southern Delaware, Child Inspired empowers children, parents and families with individualized, family-centered, therapeutic support tailored to each child and family’s unique abilities and needs.
